We invite you to join Beam and Tijay on May 6th to commemorate the opening of Baobab during the annual Pinkster Celebration at the Van Cortlandt Park Nature Center. The Pinkster Festival begins at noon and includes performers (theater/dance/music), vendors and an art workshop related to Baobab led by Tijay. At 2:30 pm, join us and all Festival attendees in a procession to the African Enslaved Burial Ground, where we will celebrate Baobab’s Opening at 3:00 pm.
